Loop Stitch is also known as Centipede Stitch or Knotted Loop Stitch. This stitch provides a band of straight stitches with a plaited center. Try graduating the length of the straight stitches for interesting results.
Step 1. Come up at A, down at B, up at C. Slide right to left under base of stitch A-B, keeping needle over working thread as you come through. Go down at D, up at E.
Step 2. Pull thread through. Slide top of needle under previous stitch from right to left keeping needle over working thread, and pull through. Repeat from D in Step 1.
